We asked our parents to tell us what they thought of the Peter Pan Nursery. One mother's response is written below describing her feelings upon finding that her child had been born with a severe disability.

Never Never land

'The bomb goes off, your life is torn apart. Devastated you stumble blindly through the rubble. Fear, pain and ignorance paralyse you. You are completely isolated. No comfort. You have joined a world that exists in a parallel dimension, you desperately want to return to the time B.D. (Before Diagnosis). You can't, you are trapped, no return.

When you find the courage to open your eyes you will see a little light twinkling in the darkness. It leads the way to 'Never Never Land'. You really don't want to go there, but there is nowhere else. Take your time.

Peter Pan will ease you gently into your new world, there you will find the strength to carry on. When the shock eventually wears off, you are able to feel again, you will realise you have found an oasis in a wilderness of despair.

Peter Pan is unique and will offer a haven of care and support.  Slowly you realise you are not alone and you will be helped to rebuild your life again. The dedication, experience and expertise of Peter Pan will bring about astounding results. Your new dreams and goals will be tailor made, set and realised.

There is nowhere else that offers this unique chance of smiling in 'Never Never Land''.
